I am so sorry to learn of Barbara's passing. I have lovely memories of her during my time in Old Alex - what a wonderful lady she was. My deepest sympathies to you Bruce and Nichola.

Our sincere condolences on the sad passing of Barbara – an immeasurable loss to you both.

Barbara was a founding Director of Carlow Tourism CLG in 2001, having previously played an active role in Carlow Rural Tourism. She made countless positive contributions to the development of tourism in Carlow including the creation of the County Carlow Golf Classic as part of The Gathering initiative in 2013, supporting its organisation for several years. The event has since grown into a very successful annual fixture, attracting golfers from all across Ireland and from the UK.

Barbara always gave generously of her time, expertise and enthusiasm to Board activities with great warmth, positivity and a genuine passion for promoting Carlow as a visitor destination.

In the many sad days ahead we know you will treasure the beautiful memories Barbara leaves behind.
