Heartfelt condolences to Trish, Carol, Linda, Audrey and all of the Heffernan family…...

When I let the girls know of the sad passing of Barbara I was asked if it was "the blonde, glamorous one"…..Barbara could shop the markets of Dublin, London & Portugal and accessorise in such a way that you'd be forgiven for thinking she'd just stepped off the catwalk.....

I will remember Barbara as the most amazing host having spent many times in Portugal & London with her & Leo, the conversation over dinner always entertaining often regaling us with stories of the many countries they had travelled to & people they had met….they took us to many places from top notch, Michelin starred restaurants to sardines at beach bars in Portugal...

Barbara could chat….at times I thought she had two sets of teeth although that might actually be a "Heffernan" thing..!!

After the tears have dried and goodbyes have been said you will have many stories and memories to keep Barbara alive in your hearts and thoughts…..

Deepest sympathies to Carol and family on the passing of your dear sister Barbara. A lovely lady who will be sadly missed.

We were blessed with meeting Barbara on a couple of occasions. One such occasion being her sister Trisha's surprise engagement in Dublin- way back in 2009! Whilst sat on my lap with one arm wrapped around me, drink in the other telling my future wife and I stories from her days in London, the parties the lifestyle, the glitz the glamour and all the good times in true Barb style...and ofcourse it was all about Barb (Heart)
Telling us to enjoy ourselves, do this, do that. Something that always stuck with me, she definitely had that aura about her and that's how I will remember her. I've no doubt she is now flying high, telling all who will listen her endless stories, in true Barb style. They certainly don't make them like Barb anymore that's for sure, God Bless x
