Deepest sympathy to all the family. I first met Barbara over sixty years ago when we started nursing. We stayed in touch ever since and I have so many happy memories of times we spent together. She was a kind, generous, resourceful and clever friend and will be much missed.

I was very sorry when I heard that Barbara had passed. She was a great friend of mine. We were room mates while training in John's & Lizzie's and the Coombe and remained friends as a group meeting every few years. She will be deeply missed by "the set". I always have very fond memories of our time together. She was always game for a laugh. Remembering her with love. My thoughts are with her family at this sad time.
