Only just heard this sad news today August 11th. I remember Barbara well from our days working on A6 in BofI, Baggot St. Condolences to Barbara’s family on their sad loss. May she rest in peace.

I bumped into Barbara in town a few years (think it was CPD lecture) after both of us had left the bank many years before. We went for coffee and had a lovely chat. She was so happy in her new career as a barrister. I am very sad to hear of her sudden passing. My condolences to all her family. May Barbara rest in peace.

What fantastic memories, laughs and great friendships we had and thankfully still have with all the Maguire family. Their Dad Andy and our Dad Michael started the "over the wall chats" on horse racing, all things political and putting the world to rights, usually around supper time. Barbara was an absolute Lady, she was so kind to everyone and she had a fantastic sense of humour. I was devistated to hear of Barbara's sudden passing. I had only been speaking to her the previous week. She was a lifelong friend of my late wife and a very good and supportive friend to me over the years. She will be greatly missed.
