Przykro mi to mówić, ale nie wiedziałem, że jest chora. Ostatni raz rozmawiałem z nią w Boże Narodzenie i powiedziała mi, że myślisz o powrocie do Polski. Basia enjoyed the love of her family and friendship of many, most of all, she enjoyed a friendship with God. Her faith was unshakeable, it was the foundation of her life, Basia was a friend of Jesus.
Her life was a gift for her family and many people.
She was known by many and will be missed – no doubt by all of them.
May the Lord reward her good deeds and welcome her into his eternal kingdom of peace.
I extend my condolences to her husband Stanislaw, her children Agatka and Kuba, her parents, sisters and brothers, her niece, sisters-in-law.

All of us in the orthopaedic division are deeply saddened at the passing of our excellent colleague and friend Barbara. She was an exemplary operative nurse, always positive, professional, resourceful and calm in a busy demanding job. We always had good fun with her in trauma T1. She cared for her patients and colleagues in the theatre and she will be missed and remembered. She dedicated herself to the care of people.
