Barbara was a dream of a colleague and human being !
We will remember a wonderful last bookfair with her in the beautiful setting of Inish Beg and we are grateful for all the memories, the laughter and the knowledge she shared freely !
A final hug was shared at Ballydehob community Hall on November 26th when Barbara was in great spirits ! We will all miss her and her soft spoken kindness !

Only heard of Barbara's passing very recently so belatedly I want to express my smypathy to all family and relatives.

I knew her from attending book fairs, what a lovely lady. She missed her beloved Jack. They are together again. May God rest them and comfolrt you all.

Sad to hear of Barbara's passing, she was a lovely lady, our condolences to the extended family. We have very fond memories of Barbara & Jack at the schoolhouse, our parents always loved their company and yarns. She will be missed, rest in peace Barbara.

It is with great sadness I learned of Barbara's death today. She was always a lady, a great book dealer, professional, courteous, honest

I think I first met Barbara at a Book Fair in Dublin's Mansion House many many moons ago, and subsequently enjoyed many a fun and erudite chat with her and Jack at numerous fairs, particularly at the Tara Towers in Dublin.
