To Barrys friends and family. I'm so sorry to hear of Barrys' passing. An absolutely sound, trusting & professional gentleman to deal with. Barry called a couple of months back to tell a number of my colleagues and I how unwell he was, explaining how P&T was going to be in good hands while he stepped back. A true a testament to the gent we miss today. Rest well Barry.

Conal, Paul & the Sandyford team in I-RES.
Sincere condolences to Barry’s family. I worked with Barry for many years through P & T services. He was so helpful, professional and kind. He was a true gentleman and will be greatly missed. RIP Barry.
My deepest condolences on the passing of Barry to all his family & friends. I met Barry through work 6 years and he was always an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was such a gentleman. He will no doubt be missed by all who knew him. RIP Barry.
Deepest sympathy to Dermot, Colette and the family on the death of

I was just thinking of Barry this morning and remembering our last conversation when he rang me from the hospice to tell me about a change of contacts in the business. We rarely spoke about life outside of our business relationship, and I never met the man in person, but I can say from our many phone calls, about problems in this building or that, that he was a pure gentleman, so dependable and just a pleasure to pick up the phone to.

Sincerest condolences to all of Barry's family and friends, and may he rest in peace.

David
I was lucky enough to have gotten to know Barry over the last few weeks - what a gent and multi-tasker (known to have a conversation, listen to the radio and have the telly on at the same time!)

I looked forward to our Tuesday chats and was so saddened to hear of his passing. I will miss him but feel very fortunate to have had the chance to know him and spend time with him.

May he rest in peace.
Just want to send my sincerest condolences to all of Barry's family and friends.
I had the pleasure of knowing him over the last 7 yrs as a customer and then over the last 2 yrs as a friend when he couldn't travel in to the shop and i went to his home to keep his moustache in top tip condition lol.
He was a fantastic man and will be sorely missed but it gives me comfort that i could help in some small way .
Our loss is definitely heavens gain 🙏 RIP

I have many fond memories of my cousin Barry. As children, birthday parties at Mount Prospect Avenue and visits at Christmas. Later walking home from The Grove. Then early adulthood visits with Auntie Peg and Uncle George. Barry was kind and gentle. It is so nice to see how he was loved by family and his many friends, and all those he connected with throughout his life. Thinking about you Dermot and would love to meet when back in Ireland sometime. Fly like an eagle Barry.

Anybody who knows myself or any of our staff, past or present, knows how much Barry meant to us. He was one of our most loyal customers and any of us would stop anything we were doing to ensure he was looked after. I would await my Friday lunchtime phone call from him to order his bits and pieces, always making sure we had a treat for Jim ready too. Even in his final weeks, we always ensured we had Jim update us on his whereabouts and his health. Barry was generous, kind and we all absolutely adored him. He celebrated our wins and we cheered on his too. I cannot describe how much we will miss him.
Barry was our favourite customer in the Butlers Pantry, a complete gentleman and we are so devastated to hear of his passing. Condolences to Collette and Jim from all of the staff current and past.
