Dear Tsugumi, I was so saddened to hear of your loss. Wishing you and your family condolences and strength at this most difficult time.

Things we associate with Barry: good spirits, a smile or laugh playing on his face, a family man if ever there was one, all stress evaporating in his presence, massively knowledgeable, a joy to share a chat with on every subject we could throw at him, great warmth and love, with always a sly pop culture reference at the ready.

We've taken weeks to write this cause nothing seemed to do him justice.

Our thoughts are with the family, his two ladies and the O'Kelly clan.

My condolences to all the O'Kelly family and Barry's own wife, daughter and all family and friends on the tragic passing of Barry. I remember him as a young boy when I was friends with his brother Ian. I lived on Faussagh Avenue at that time. May you all find comfort in each other and in the support of friends and neighbours.

In November 2022, Barry, Tsugumi and their daughter, Shion welcomed a group of friends to their Home for a Special Party.
I had never met Barry before, but after getting to chat to him, I like everyone else present got on very well with him.
We in the group all had great laughter and fun at this Party - unforgettable.
I'm so deeply sorry for your Loss, Tsugumi San and Shion Kun and also to the O'Kelly and Yamamoto Families.
