Our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to all of Barry's family. His wife and children, his parents, brothers sisters. We knew Barry because he was one of our sons carers in sarshill house, later called newhaven. We were saddened and shocked to hear about his death. Such a kind and caring young man and so good at his job. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. May the hope of the ressurection bring you some comfort. Revelation 21: 4.

It didn’t take long to see how much love and compassion Barry lived this beautiful life we have. I didn’t know him long but he has a special type of love to his soul. Never a dull moment with my brotha. The way he carried himself as a father and a man was very inspiring and always warmed my heart. I can’t thank him and lovely Sinade enough for bringing Ronan and Ada into my life. Those two rays of sunshine will never go a minute without their father lookin down and being proud of them. There is no doubt that they will forever feel his love as I know many others do. My deepest condolences and wishes . Rest In Peace and Paradise Barry. Love.

I haven't seen Barry in a couple of years, life just got in the way I guess.

A lot of my fondest and happiest memories from my younger years involve Barry. Our school years in Moyle Park, playing basketball, our somewhat serviceable rendition of Livin' on a Prayer, in Irish, in a Gaeltacht talent competition. Racing to get the bus home from Navan when the teacher's strike was called off and we had to go to school the next day!

Joyous memories that make me smile every time I think about them. Anytime I think of Barry himself, I picture his cheeky smile.

Just a wonderful man, a good friend and no doubt a wonderful son, brother, husband and father.

My sincerest condolences to all of the family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him
