Barry was one of the gentlest of men - a very good friend since we first met in Dundrum back in the eighties. I shall always miss our Sunday chats in the Town Centre. Rest in Peace brave man.

My heartfelt sympathies to Barry's family. I've never worked with a nicer and more genuine man. There was never a day when he was in a bad mood. As a manager, he worked alongside us, never ordering but getting stuck in. He will be missed. Rest in peace.
