Barry Wickham

Although I haven't seen you for a number of years, I remember you patting my head on my yearly visits, and the look of delighted amazement when you realised I'd got taller since the last visit. You were a true gentleman. Mum and Dad (Tess and Declan) miss you so much.

Such a sweet and gentle man. An absolute honour to have known him. Condolences to all his family and all who loved him dearly.

I feel honoured to have had the opportunity to know Barry through St. Joseph’s House and Reach Deaf Services. I will always cherish the memories of outings, Christmas parties, and holidays shared with Barry and Eddie.

Barry was truly a gentleman, and he always will be in my heart.

My condolences to Declan and Family on the passing of Barry. I often met him in Bray when he would travel down by bus from his home in Enniskerry. Barry was a lovely man and despite is his communication difficulty he was always in good form. He always remembered me and his smile was radiant.

I remember many times as a child seeing Barry on the footpath in Enniskerry, waiting for someone to take him accross the road, guiding him over and his little wave in thanks. He was an amazing person who lived a very different life than most of us. Condolences to all his family and friends. RIP Barry.
