Granddad was a great inspiration to us all and we thoroughly enjoyed his company whether it be our trips to Ireland, holidays abroad or sharing special moments like on my wedding day in Malta and his surprise trip to Lanzarote to join us to celebrate his other Granddaughters 40th Birthday. . It is with great sadness to say goodbye to him as he was a lovely person who shared his life for many years with his lovely and caring wife Philomena. My heartfelt thoughts and feelings go out to Philomena who cared for him very deeply and especially Rusty as he really enjoyed his long long walks with Granddad. My thoughts and prayers also go out to Dad, Uncle Kevin and Michael and cousins. He will be deeply missed. May God keep him safe and be reunited with past loved ones in Heaven. God Bless XXX
