I am so sorry to hear of Billie’s untimely passing and I offer my sincere sympathy to her Mum and her children. I had the pleasure of working with Billie in Croydon in the late 80s’/early 90s’ and it was always fun to be in her company. She had a most engaging personality, a rare and genuine ability to make the person she was speaking with feel they were the only person in the room. She also had a wicked sense of humour - where Billie was, laughter was never far away. Rest In Peace.

She lit up everywhere she went with her energy and charisma. She’d always stop to chat with myself and the kids with a twinkle in her eye.
My favourite memories are of Billie playing the pied piper down the avenue on Halloween with all of the kids on the road dressed up to the nines and having the most fun of all.
She will be missed by many. Remember the good times!

A light has gone out in all our lives with the sad passing of our dear Billie. She was one of a kind and gone from us far too soon. She was such a warm, fun, friendly presence among our group in Castle GC. She brightened up our day, whatever the occasion, with her irrepressible zest for life and fun and divilment. Billie will be sadly missed but fondly remembered for that gorgeous smile, her big and kind heart and her love for life. She was a brilliant and hard working member of the Pav committee during my time, always ready to take on the jobs and do what needed to be done and was a great support to me. She was a fierce competitor on the course and at the bridge table always keen to improve. My heartfelt and sincere sympathy to her beloved children Ross, Connor and Sarah-Jane you all meant the world to her, her mum Phyllis, and to all her family and many, many friends.
