What started out as a working relationship developed into a true friendship. I am absolutely gutted to hear the news, but it helps to remember your spirit and kindness. You did light up a room and there was never a dull moment. Even in this time of great sadness, when I think of our times together I can't help but have a smile.

I have known Ben since he was a child. An adventure to Dalkey Island, & the fun Ben had with the other children that day, is particularly well remembered.

Ben, I can’t believe you’re gone. I owe you so much through the great memories we shared from San Fran to Sydney, Bombay and beyond. You had an appetite for life I’ve never seen matched. Heaven deserves your smile. Sleep easy my old pal. Bob.
