Sincerest condolences on Benny’s passing. It was a long time ago but I remember sailing on his boat in Dublin bay. I always knew him as the kindest and calmest of my parents friends; he wasn’t that day!

Dear Mary, saddened by Benny's passing. I will miss the regular phone calls and our coffee mornings and lunches in HYC. I learned a lot sailing with Benny, he had all the seamanship skills and maintained "Sparkle" in top condition. He will be missed by us all

Hi Mary I behalf of the Irish Naval Association I would like to offer my sincere condolences on the passing of Benny. I sailed with Benny on board Creidne on many occasions. I was the apprentice and Benny was the Master. One memorial trip was up to Scotland with a great crew. I learned a lot from Benny and will be forever grateful. May he rest in peace
