My sincere condolences to you all. I have great memories of Bertie from when I was a child. Bertie made the best Victoria sponge cakes and would always bring one with her to Cappyroe when she visited. I remember a time I visited with Daddy to the Colgan home and I left with a Paddy Reilly vinyl (record) where she told me to learn one of the songs (The Fields of Athenry). Bertie always had a welcome and a smile for everyone. She was full of fun and laughter. May her gentle soul rest in peace when the angels lead her straight.
