On the sad passing of Bernadette
May Bernadette rest in peace.

As a work colleague, Bernie was one of the smartest people I’ve ever met. She was articulate, hardworking, honest, and deeply focused, the kind of person who quietly raised the standards for everyone around her.

She had a wonderful instinct for choosing the right product at the right time and at the right price. Her insight and dedication played a huge part in helping our business grow and thrive, and for that I will always be deeply grateful.

My last message from her was in June, when she said she would give anything to be back on the job. That simple message says so much about her passion, her loyalty, and her love for what she did. Bernie was deeply appreciated and she will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.

I had the pleasure of working with Bernie for 3 years before her retirement and I can't say enough about how good of a woman she was. She was always caring, fair and honest. I will always have the most respect and admiration for her and my condolences to her family, she will be greatly missed by a lot of people, but will be fondly remembered by anyone who was lucky enough to meet her.

Bernie was a lovely warm person, always took the time to ask about you. I know her for many year through the connection with my twin Colette working with her.

Bernie+myself started working in Lenehans in the late 70's.We had many happy years working along side each other.I left for a number of years but returned some years later+spent 18 more years together up until last year.Bernie was a work colleague but more importantly a true friend. I will miss our getogethers+friendship.We were both looking forward to our retirement+meeting up occasionally.
