Deepest Sympathy to the Gillen Family
Dear Greg, and my cousins, Margaret, Anthony, Peter, Fiona, Brendan, Teresa, Martin and Ciara,
My deepest sympathy to each of you on Bernadette’s sudden passing ... my aunt Bernadette.
I am reminded of the words of Irish writer, John O’Donoghue, in his poem, ‘On the Death of the Beloved’....
“Let us not look for you only in memory,
Where we would grow lonely without you.
You would want us to find you in presence,
Beside us when beauty brightens,
When kindness glows
And music enters eternal tones.
May you continue to inspire us:
To enter each day with a generous heart.
To serve the call of courage and love
Until we see your beautiful face again
In that land where there is no more separation,
Where all tears will be wiped from our mind,
And where we will never lose you again”.
I will miss our chats Aunt Bernadette....May you Rest In Peace.
With love & deepest sympathy to all the family.

A lovely woman. Will be truly missed. Condolences to the gillen family.
Apologies I won’t make the funeral to pay my respects in person.

My sincerest condolences to all the Gillens on Bernadette's relatively sudden passing away. She was a lovely lady and exceptionally kind to our family over the years. She'll be greatly missed by you all.
I regret to say that I won't be able to attend the removal or funeral as I'm currently out of Ireland. However, I had the opportunity to visit her in your house over Christmas, so that's a consolation.
May she Rest In Peace.

So sorry to heat the sad news. An absolute lady. May she rest in peace in her heavenly home
