Sending all my love and condolences to Uncle Jan and my cousins Simone, Michelle and Shane at such a difficult time. I have so many great memories of Aunty Bernie over the years - her smiling face coming in the door at our house to have a cup of tea with my mum, the warmth and welcome of her house in Foxrock and, of course, all the fun and card games in the van in Brittas. So many great childhood family memories. She will be greatly missed.

Heartbroken to hear of Bernie’s passing. I have so many lovely memories of her in Brittas Bay growing up. May she rest in peace. Sending my deepest sympathies to you all from across the water in Vancouver. Xx

Just want to pass my condolences on to Shane and all the family. I spent a few summers on my own in Brittas Bay and Bernie always kept an eye out for me while I was down there. She was very upbeat and funny. She was also a great friend to my mum. Sorry to hear of her passing and best wishes to all the family.
