I knew her through her involvement with Ogra Chorcai's Summer Recreation Schemes, where she was the local Co=Ordinator and was involved in organising many activiteis & trips for the children & teenagers of the local community. It seemed effortless to her to cater for so many different wants and needs, but she was after all, gifted in very unassuming ways.
My friendship with her and with Pat contintued over many years and I will always associate her with a Heart of never ending love & dedication toPat and her 3 boys.

There are memories of Bernie and Pat that I will always hold dear. My first visit to their house nearly 25 years ago, their warmth and welcome, how easy it was to just be with them.
Since then there have been countless more times to remember. Through big occasions and small both in Ireland and here in Australia.
Bernie thank you for your kindness, warmth and generosity. I will miss you very much but I am among the many who will hold your memory, humour and love close to my heart always.
