In very recent times, despite her illness Bernadette treated us to an unforgettable homemade apple crumble. We always drew comfort from her smiles and good natured spirit. So sorry to hear of the sad passing of Mrs. Ryan . She was always lovely when I worked in the shop as my summer job many moons ago . I especially remember the digestive biscuits sandwich with the whipped ice -cream the highlight of the day .
