Deepest condolences to all of Bens relatives, friends & neighbours. He was a lovely harmless friendly man who enjoyed the local Irish music with a coke in his hand! We will miss seeing him with his main mode of transport - his bicycle. God rest his gentle soul.

Ben was a classmate in Drumkeerin college back in the late ninety fifties. He was a quiet unassuming man - one of nature's gentlemen. The last time I saw Ben was a few years ago - at the funeral of Miley McPadden, RIP. That day we chatted over a cup of tea in the old school house in Newbridge. God rest you Ben, you are now at rest.

Heaven has certainly gained an Angel with Ben’s passing. A quiet, gentle soul who wouldn’t know how to hurt a fly. He’s been a part of our family all our life and great memories will remain forever. So comforting that his last years were his best thanks to his carers and great neighbors who always looked out for him. This world needs more people like Ben.
