Bernard (Berny) Kennedy

I am so sorry to learn of the death of my old friend.

My deepest sympathy to family ,friends and relations.
I have very happy memories of our mountain walks in Wicklow and a special three day walk on the Blue Stack way.Also an eventful At Patrick's weekend in a hostel on Arranmore.
Our last meeting was by accident in Cyprus.

To his own family and especially to Patrick and the rest of the Kennedy clan our deepest sympathies. Sadly there couldn’t be the normal waking at this strange time, for assuredly there would have been warm smiles and stories to ease this sad time for you all.

Bernard worked with me in eircom, we had so many laughs and after eircom at the back of the stands for a sneaky fag. We were silver surfers and kept in touch on line

We are so so sad to hear about the passing of Bernard. Like his family we are in shock at the suddenness in which he has left us.

He joined our choir only recently, at the end of May for our final online meet up and during the summer had been in regular touch with our members.

Bernard was one of our beloved tenors for a number of years and the entire choir are so sad to hear that he has departed this world.

Bernard really enjoyed being part of our choir and we loved that he sang with us each week and at all of our performances and trips away.

Bernard was a big part of our choir life and we know he loved singing with us.

Bernard was always among the first into rehearsals each week and always greeted everyone in the same fashion, with a big smile on his face and a cheeky chuckle. He was known for his good humour and his gentle quips.
Our Singers have expressed their condolences also on our FB page.

Bernard - May the road rise to meet you , May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
