I was very sorry to hear that Bernard is no longer with us. He was a stalwart of the Shankill Classical Music Club where he was highly esteemed both for his great personality and his deep appreciation and knowledge of music. My sincere condolences to the Clarke family.

My deepest sympathy to Bernard’s family on his death. He was a wonderful man, with a great sense of humour and had an encyclopaedic knowledge of classical music. He was a mainstay of the Classical Music Club in Shankill for so many years. May the Lord have mercy on his beautiful soul.
