I'm sorry I missed hearing about the passing of Bernard until today.
He trained me in diving when I first joined Sheephaven Sub Aqua Club in 1995 and we had some great dives as buddies over the years. One always felt in safe hands when he was leading. I was sorry to hear he had passed away and I wish to express my sympathy to all the family.

Very sad to hear of Bernards passing while we are in Toronto Canada. Many a time Bernard would give us Bryant children many moons ago a lift from Ballylin into Ramelton always a gentleman always had time for conversation. May he rest in peace.

Dear Rosaleen, Annie and family. So saddened to hear about Bernard’s passing. My deepest condolences. I am sure he is now at peace. Will visit you Rosaleen when home in September. Bernard was a lovely person and I will always cherish his visit with us in Brisbane - he loved the adventure and told lots of stories. With much love. Sally and family.

Sincere condolences on your loss, may he rest in peace
I am very sorry to hear. Bernard patiently and with great humour taught me and generations of Donegal people to scuba dive and was the anchor for the diving community. He served the wider community quietly and respectfully with decades of search and recovery diving bringing closure and comfort to many Donegal families. Bernards faithful selfless dedication to his late sister was an inspiration . Donegal has lost a gentle giant RIP
