My deepest condolences to Caroline, Jessica and Rebecca on the tragic passing of my dear friend Bernard. He was my tennis sparring partner for over 20 years. The tennis we played was well below Wimbledon standards but the fun and entertainment I derived from those sessions was peerless. It was highly therapeutic and was the highlight of my week for over two decades .
Likewise with my dental sessions which were always characterised by great fun and reassuring empathy. His infectious laughter and genuine interest in people brightened every situation .His mind always sparkled with wonder at everything.
This world will be a quieter and poorer place without him
Bernard, though your days here were all too brief, your spirit is still alive and you dwell in that safe place in our hearts where no storm or darkness or pain can reach.
Until we see your warm, smiling, welcoming face again ,may you rest in peace in the land where there is no separation

I wish to express my deepest sympathy to all the Molloy family on the sad passing of Bernard.Barney as I knew him, was one of the nicest and most pleasant individuals that I ever encountered.Whether it be as student in the Dublin Dental Hospital or later at meetings of the Irish Dental Association.A true all-rounder with a great sense of humour. One evening while celebrating a Hospitals Cup victory in the Toby Jug he had the presence of mind to bring and launch an umbrella so as to protect his clothes from flying beer.Thank you Barney for all the memories.May you Rest in Peace.
Bernard was a dental colleague, beloved by his patients and a total gentleman. He will be missed by all that knew him. Rest in peace.

Bernard gave me my first job as a qualified dentist when I moved to Ireland. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful post in such a loving environment. Bernard was caring and supportive to a very anxious young dentist. He taught me so much and I will never forget his kindness. I think about my time working in Greystones often with very fond memories. Bernard was so full of life. He had a wonderful sense of humour and I loved seeing him belly laugh at something stupid I had done. His love of his wife, children and grand kids was so clear. As was his love of wicklow and cycling. Its been many years since I last saw Bernard at some course or other but I think of him often. I'm so very sorry to hear of him passing and send my love to all his family and friends. Love Emma x
