Sincere sympathy to the Dwyer family on Benny's passing. I knew Benny as a friend and colleague in Dublin City Council, originally as a driver and then in the Housing Rents Dept. He was a gentleman always, and never missed remembering our shared birthday date - 9th February. May his gentle soul rest in the peace of heaven.

Benny was an absolute gentleman who I admired, respected and looked up to since I was a child. I loved been in his company and especially on Christmas mornings in Melvin Rd. I always looked forward to seen him and having a good chat about anything and everything. He was a great family friend right to the end and was by our side at our Dad & Mam’s funerals. He will be missed but always loved and remembered.
