We are so sad about Bernard's passing. I have great memories of school holidays in Ballinadrimna with Bernard and Pat. Memories of sun filled days in the fields helping Uncle Matt make hay, and Maisie bring us hot tea and buttered brown and currant bread. Rest in Peace Bernard.

Bernard was an avid reader who made frequent trips up to our library to browse what new books had come in, he loved his walks outside to oversee the surrounding farmlands and keep an eye on the cattle and sheep that grazed there. Deepest sympathy to all Bernard's Family especially David.(which I heard alot about) I called to see Bernard every Thursday with my dog before she passed away and we always had great chats. He loved to chat about everything Farming and he was very impressed one day when I took my phone out and we watched Delvin Mart for a few minutes. I was sorry I was unable to attend his funeral. I have very fond memories of the wide ranging conversations with Bernard on his visits to our childhood family home in Moymet, covering diverse topics of farming, local & world affairs, the dance scene etc. Bernard was well versed on all as he soaked up news from Farmers Journal, newspapers etc. Although departed, Bernard will be fondly remembered.
