Sharon, i was very sorry to hear of the death of Bernard. Deepest sympathy to you, Joan, Niamh and Ciaran and to the extended family. Thinking of you all.

Was so sad to hear of the passing of Bernard. He was an absolute gentleman who would always stop you in the office to say hello. On the many training course Bernard facilitated he was always honest and shared his great experience in the business. When I was sick overseas with work Bernard made sure that everything was done to help me get home and kept my wife informed which we were both so gratefully for and will never forget. My condolences to the whole family.

Sharon, my deepest and sincerest condolences to You and Your Family.
Even though I had talked with Bernard just a few short weeks ago when I heard the very sad news of his passing it was still shocking and so very sad. I knew Bernard from the day he joined DHL Express, initially in Ireland as the fleet controller and later on in the European and Global Boardrooms. Under his guidance and direction DHL Ireland became one of the top performing countries in the DHL Network, no mean achievement.
When people both within and outside DHL talked about Bernard it was as the ultimate professional, honest, smart, hardworking , compassionate who had the respect of all the people he interacted withcombined with a deep love of his family.
For me it was a privilege to have worked with Bernard over many years and an even bigger honor to have been friends.

DHL won’t be the same without him. His vision and warmth created a work environment where everyone felt valued and supported. Bernard had a rare gift for making people feel like they mattered - a legacy that will live on.

He will be sorely missed, but the difference he made in our lives will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. 💛
