Bernard was a truly kind and warm gentleman who had a special way of making everyone feel welcome. There was always a twinkle in his eye and a great story to share. He had a rare gift for putting people at ease and making them feel valued.
I will greatly miss our chats, Bernard, and the kindness and good humour you shared so freely. I feel honoured to have known you.
My thoughts are with Bernard's family - Mary, Seamus, Bernadette, Mary and Holly Anne - and the extended O'Donnell, McFadden and Boyce families, and his many friends at this very sad time.
