Very sorry to hear of Bernard's passing. My sincere sympathies to all the Ward family.
He was always a pleasure to work with over the years as a "redcap" at DAP.

It is with sadness that we have learned of Bernard's death. Happy memories of being good neighbours in Woodbine Close in the 60's and early 70's. How the years fly.

We had more contact when we met at Dublin Airport....with us in Aer Lingus and Bernard in British Airways.

He was ALWAYS in good form with that smile and a twinkle in his eye. One of Nature's gentlemen, he will be sadly missed by so many. May he rest in the peace he deserves!

I had a number of interactions with Bernard at Dublin Airport while he was in BA. He was always a quintesential gentleman to deal with and loyal to a fault. The world is sadder for his loss.

We are so sorry we cannot be there today to celebrate Bernard's wonderful life. He was a distinguished, kind Gentleman. He played such a major part in all your lives. I know you will miss him terribly. Personally, we will always be so grateful to Bernard for including Matthew in the morning school run all those years ago. It became a mantra each morning in our house "Don't keep Bernard waiting".....

So sorry to hear of Brendan's passing. He was one of lifes great gentlemen.

My late father and him bonded over music and were great singers.

I am sure he will keep him a place in Heavens Choir.

Of all the things, I'd like to see

Dear Margaret, Evelyn, Helene, Rachel and Simon, we were so sorry and sad to hear about your gorgeous Husband and Dad Bernard. We have such fond memories of him over the years, he was always so dapper, immaculately presented, always happy, smiling and so very kind. You were always guaranteed an interesting conversation in his company over some good red wine which we were so lucky to share with him on many occasions.

We were entertained so many times by Bernard and Margaret in their warm home where Bernard was in his element, delicious food, excellent wines and fun was always had. We were so lucky to have known you Bernard and thank you for being in our lives, you enriched so many lives and I know you will be missed immensely by all your family and friends. Thinking of you all at this incredibly sad time and also Brian, Hannah, Jake, Isaak and Paul,Thea, Oisin and Oscar too with love xx
