She was a committed teacher and supported and encouraged hundreds of students over the years. Even when Covid arrived, Bernie was determined to ensure that the students could complete their course and achieve certification. She gave so much to so many and will be fondly remembered in our staffroom. May she rest in peace.

My sincerest condolences to the Doyle family on the death of Bernie, a lovely lady. Very fond memories of Bernie being here with her friend Anne after they took up playing the violin. They were great ladies and we spent a few happy hours playing different pieces. I will remember Bernie as a lovely neighbour.
