Patrick, Naomi, Donna, Erika, Lydia and extended family,

I am very sorry I couldn't make it to the Castle this weekend but Bernie and you all have been in my thoughts and prayers.

I have amazing memories of Bernie, from times in Cape from my youth, Christmas in the castle and her amazing kindness while helping me prepare for my French Oral (A tough task indeed).

In more recent times I always enjoyed meeting Bernie and Patrick outside McCarthys while enjoying a glass of wine. Bernie's smile and greeting was infectious and her positive energy left a lasting impression on those she met.

I know she will be sadly missed but I for one am grateful for the impact she had on my life.
