I only recently heard of the passing of beautiful Bernie,I was lucky enough to share a room with on The Camino journey with MKF,we shared many stories and tears,you will be fondly remembered...and missed ..

I met Bernie doing the Camino a couple of years ago and she was the life and soul of our little group as we walked to Santiago de Compostela. Such an inspiration and so many great memories. Bernie will be sorely missed by all her friends and colleagues at Allegro. She was inspirational in the way she coped with her illness and was always more interested in others than herself. Bernie was a true friend and inspiration to both me and especially to my late wife Pat who passed away from the same horrible disease just 7 weeks ago.
She was always there for Pat and helped us through the bad times even though she was going through bad times herself.
I was a joy to have known her and serve with her on the Committee of Coolmine Musical Society.
I will miss her terribly. Rest in Peace Bernie and I hope somewhere that you and Pat are reunited as the great friends you were.
