Bertie So Sorry to hear you have left us. You inspired many in your time on this earth & I was one who was fortunate enough to be so inspired. Winning another Intermediate Championship for Baile Iomhair 10 years after your famous team lifted It, with you at our helm.It will be something many of us who have written on here will now remember again fondly. We may not have always agreed on "the other football game" when we did not use our hands after a session with yourself. But it was always inspirational to listen to your wise words on the field playing with your wonderful nephews Joe & Sean. I was sad when i did not get to say hello to you at Dad's memorial. I saw you there ever a gent to one and all as you snook out the door on my dads fav side of the Chapel. My condolences with your Clan, Claire, Christy Et Al. it was an honor to have watched you play but even a greater honor to have been a member of your victorious squad. Rest peacefully Bertie many stories of your life on this earth will be recalled here & many a good banter & brutal handshake will be shared with Family & Team mates where you now play your Great games again.
