My memories of Beryl go back to those heady days of 1969 & 1970 when we were all revelling in our new found freedom in the big city and I was lucky enough to live with the Garland family in Dun Emer.

My sincere condolences to you, Beryl was one of life's beautiful people. She was kind and thoughtful and she had a great sense of humour! We had some great laughs at the infamous Weight Watchers meetings on Francis Street!

We first got to know Beryl and Basil when we all moved into Clifton Park in the mid 70's. Beryl was a great ambassador for the cubs/scouts and recruited the boys in the area to join. Always a happy and smiling face would greet you on arrival for meetings. You would always hear her laughter before you got to meet her. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Beryl will be missed dearly - she was always like another Granny to us Gilligan girls growing up in Clifton Park and was a great friend to our Nanny G! She was always laughing and smiling and loved being kept up to date on what was going on in our lives. She was one of a kind with the biggest heart!
