Our summers in Clonea will never be the same. Betty has been an amazing neighbour, our three girls have nothing but fond memories of her, especially in recent years. She always made time for them and loved to see them enjoying themselves. We will miss her company. Rest in Peace Betty 🤍

So saddened to learn than Betty has passed away. A wonderful lady, a real force of nature. I have nothing but fond memories of my time working with her in the Clonmel Arms Hotel.
Betty was the embodiment of that older, better code where you tried to make the lives of your neighbour and your community better. She had a proper understanding of what a sense of community actually meant.
All of our thoughts are with Betty’s lovely family at this sad time.
