Heartfelt sorrow to all of Betty’s R.I.P. family. Betty R.I.P was blessed with the most magnificent voice , and I’m sure will be singing with the Angels and taking care of each one of her beloved family.

I am so sad to hear of the death of Betty. We worked together many moons ago now while I was in my first job in the Cork Chamber of Commerce. Even though it has been a while since I last met Betty my memories of her will last forever. Always busy, always smiling that was my friend Betty. Neil, so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I didn't know Betty but from reading the comments of others who did, it's clear she lived a great life and made an impact on all around her, certainly someone Baden Powell might have said left tracks for those following behind her. So sorry Elaine, Gerard, Neil and Carole to hear the sad news of your Mum Betty's passing...we have such great memories of she and your Dad arriving to the 'dinner parties'...always bringing the 'dear' sweets!!.. i don't know who was more excited..the kids with treats and staying up late or the adults, they always brought joy and laughter with them and you always felt better having met them ...a great legacy .. may she rest in peace...
