We are beyond shocked and saddened at the sudden loss of Betty. I still can’t believe we were only speaking to her last week, she was just a lovely lady, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Our sincere condolences Suzanne, Bernard and Adele your mam, Aunty Betty was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She always greeted you with a sincere smile and if she hadn’t seen you in a while a welcoming hug. Your dad Barney found the love of his life in Betty much to our families benefit as we got to share and love Betty’s company over the years. Suzanne, Bernard and Adele you got the best deal of all having Betty as your mam. I am sure you have wonderful memories to treasure, both Miriam and I will be thinking of you at this very sad time.

Our very deepest sympathies to Suzanne, Bernard , Adele and all the family. Betty was an incredible neighbour to us and she was always just so friendly and chatty. When I was a young mother, she was forever telling me to give her a call if I needed anything. I was always meeting her out on her travels into town to meet friends or on the 14 bus back from Dundrum. She was always full of life and she loved to tell us of her lovely travels with all her beautiful family. She could never speak highly enough of you all and her lovely grand children. You were always so kind to her. May she R.I.P.
