Dear Pauline & all the Mc Nally family I was so sorry to hear this week re the passing of your dear sister Betty from your good friend Joan way back from their school days together in Sth Circular Rd.
I had the pleasure of knowing Betty & Pauline as their Chiropodist for many yrs, so loyal, one complimented the other always, reminiscing re their lovely holidays in Lough Shinney with their parents, so much so, that's the reason went to live in Skerries at the start with their Mum too, they loved their family visiting & Edel their niece was great doing the driving in the latter years. Betty loved their rescue dog 'Blackie', think he ruled the roost, loved meeting people chatting on the beach while Betty brought him for a walk. Enjoyed holidays abroad with Pauline, Betty worked over her time again being Loyal to her friend/boss Mr Ward in the film Industry, Betty you always looked so smart, sad you are gone. thank you for your loyalty all the years. .
Rest in Peace Betty

A woman I grew up with but never saw enough. My aunt was the most funny and sharp woman I ever met. Living abroad made it even more difficult. Christmas was always fun in skerries. Gifts… crisps….corgis And later gin and tonics that were more gin than tonic 😘 I won a medal in disco dancing(2nd)… the medal had musical notes on it.. and she played them… sounded horrible…. The medals fault not Betty’s!
I will miss you aunt Betty….say hi to my dad and uncle jack 😘
