As you know Betty was my life-long friend for more than 70 years and will be sadly missed.
We shared a rich life together which I remember with pleasure including many cycling trips and holidays around Ireland, Wales and England, predominantly before Betty met Christy. I was her Bridesmaid although Betty did not want to be a Maid-of-Honour! Married within a year of each other we reared our young families together with regular visits between Finglas and Walkinstown. We even shared an early cruise together, while in later years we would meet for lunch in town to share the latest news in our lives.

Betty you will be missed.

The funeral mass was lovely and were it possible, I would have been there.

I will miss your Mom but fortunately have many memories of visits, excursions and chats. Hopefully some day, in the near future, we will be able to meet up and share these memories.
