To all of Betty’s family we offer our sincere condolences on the passing of an amazing lady. She was always like a Granny to me when my Nana, Nora Burke, passed away. We visited Betty many times on our own trips to Kerry and were always lovingly welcomed with a spread of sandwiches and cakes along with many stories. We will treasure those days and the devilment in her eyes when she met our little girl in the Kerry/Dublin jersey she bought for her.

To Trish ,Gerard and all the extended Moran family, we want to express our sincere condolences on the death of Betty. She was a wonderful, warm and welcoming lady whose love for her family, Strand Road, Kerins O'Rahillys ,the Kerry team (and occasionally the Dubs) was endless. We have such fond memories of our lovely Betty when she stayed with us in Dublin. This included trips to Croke Park and the GAA Museum. Our 3 children really valued and enjoyed the banter and precious time spent in her company. When we visited her , we could never leave without a visit to Kerins O'Rahillys. She had a heart of gold and was always up for the craic. She regaled us with many great stories relating to her long life. She will be sorely missed by our family .

RIP Betty, condolences to all your family. Betty took the place of surrogate Nana for myself and my brothers after our own passed away. She was a true legend and we always loved trips to Kerry or when she came to visit us in Dublin. There was a lot of GAA banter - the Kerry Dublin rivalry was real! Her laugh was infectious and she always kept us amused with tales and songs. I will sincerely miss her and treasure the time I had with her. Sleep tight Betty xxx
