Tim, and all the O'Brien family I offer my sincere sympathy following the death of your mother. May she rest in peace. Betty and I had great chats over the years. Often our meetings were accidental. We never ran out of conversation. Tim.....you were always very kind and accommodating to my own mother at your restaurant in Trim and many's the meal I enjoyed there.

Our deepest sympathies to all of the O'Brien and the wider family. Mrs O'Brien was an absolute lady, I was welcomed into her home in Rockview with a huge smile and an open-armed welcome since I was 3 years old, and will never forget the warmth and kindness she always showed me from that time until now. I haven't met her as often in recent years but when I did I still felt like that warmth and loving kindness emanating from her gentle soul. I'm sure Donal Snr will be happy to be reunited with her again. May she rest in peace.
