Cecil, Lisa, Ian & David, I’ve only just heard of Betty’s passing. Very sad news.
I have such wonderful memories of Betty, especially Saturday afternoons up in Marlay Park when we were just teenagers, Lisa - Betty & my mam (Fran) in cahoots. Wherever Betty went there was always lots of laughter. I loved her warmth, her strength and her sense of fun.

David met Janis tonight and asked her to call me which she did…David told me about his Mum’s passing and asked me to light a candle for her which of course I will along with my sincere condolences to all the family…I remember your Mum who was a lovely lady and may she rest in peace…he also named all his teachers and asked me to contact them which I will do….it’s a difficult time for you all, but you will be in my prayers along with a special one for David, for his reaching out to his past teachers to say prayers for his Mum, which I’m sure they will…So proud of him…..RIP Betty…
