So sorry to hear this sad news. I met Bev in Ludgate and he was always friendly, kind and fun loving. My sincere sympathies to all Bev's family. He will be missed.

Dear Miriam, Arthur, Phoebe and Maidhc, and extended families. So sorry to hear the sad news about Bev’s passing. He was one of Nature’s true gentlemen and is gone way too soon. Bev always made time for a chat when we’d meet at Skibbereen Farmers’ Market. When we last met at the café at Uillinn, he and Arthur told me about what they were planning to wear for Phoebe and Maidhc’s wedding, and how much they were looking forward to the special day. It’s hard to believe that now he’s gone. RIP Bev. We won’t forget you.

I am so saddened by the news of Bev's passing!

My deepest condolences to you, and to the rest of the family and all his friends on this heartbreaking loss! I hope you are staying strong through this and will have a chance to get some grieving time and closure after the funeral.

Bev will be remembered not only by his loving family but also by all who had a chance to meet him. I certainly can count myself to be a lucky person to have had some interactions with Bev over the years. We have shared laughs and humorous moments, debates and disagreements, frustrations with and disdain for the failures of our times. I can only wish we've had a chance to share many more.

A person's life, I suspect, is measured by the legacy of love they leave behind, and Bev left a lot of love in all of us. It will remain with us for years to come. We shall keep it alive.

May his soul rest in peace! And my love to you, Miriam, Phoebe and Arthur.
