This is the most shocking news, it seems like only yesterday that Beverley and Michelle were the two smiling, laughing little sisters that lived around the corner from me.

I can’t even imagine your pain. I can only hope that you can draw strength from the love and closeness you all shared, to help you through your darkest days.

Beverley, you made a difference, on this earth.

Bev's contribution to Finglas West FRC, the FRC Eastern Region Forum, and the National FRC Programme had a profound positive impact for so many children, families, individuals, and communities. Her warmth, empathy and commitment touched so many and we are thinking of Bev's family and all in Barnardos and Finglas West FRC at this difficult time. May Bev rest in peace.

To Conleth, Lilly May, Charlie, Bev’s mam and dad, and her wider family. I am so deeply sorry for your loss and wish to send you so much love and strength as you try to come to terms with this unfathomable loss. I first met Bev many years ago when I started working in Barnardos but it was in 2018 that I really started to get to know her. I took on the line management of the new family resource centre in Finglas West as I was looking for a new work challenge. I certainly got that but what I didn’t expect was to make a new friend and what an amazing surprise and bonus that was. We became as thick as thieves and had an absolute ball together getting the FRC off the ground. Bev was funny, compassionate, kind, caring, strong, fearless, determined, committed, dedicated and the most supportive friend and colleague. She was my work BFF and brought so much joy to the work we were doing, no one will ever take her place. Rest in peace my beautiful pal, you will be forever missed and I will always have a special place for you in my heart. X

Bev’s passing has touched me, and so many others, deeply. It’s clear how loved and cherished she was by everyone who knew her—you have my deepest sympathies.
