Alan, Karen,Sarah, Robert and extended family, I was so sad to hear Biddy passed away. I have such fond memories of my time living in Kerry Cottage. She was a lady. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Dear Watson Family

We were so sorry to hear about Biddy passing, but I have to say, I can’t think of her without having a big smile. She was an absolute saint, she had the patience of Job, putting up with all us rowdy teenagers, who were in your house day in and day out. We’d turn up at all hours, and there she’d be, ready to feed us or just let us party on—even when Alan was nowhere to be found you could still find us in the kitchen..

She knew everything about us too, all the breakups and makeups, and somehow managed to keep it all to herself. I reckon she knew more about us than our own parents did! She kept us out of trouble (mostly) and let us turn her home into a second home without ever batting an eye.

Your mum was a gem, truly one of a kind, and I’ll never forget all the laughs, chats, and cups of tea she shared with us over the years. She made us feel like family, and that’s a gift I’ll always treasure.
