Our dearest neighbour and friend Bill - what can I say? He was an amazing man, wise beyond words, just like the ‘Village-Elder’ of times past. Always had great stories and recall of his youth & the development of Grange Park & the Club. His family always came first with him. They adored him & were devoted to their dad & grandad and this is exactly how it should have been. He bravely continued on after Theresa’s passing, knowing that he had done absolutely everything for her & that they would be reunited someday. I’m sure they are now side-by-side where they belong. He has left a void here that no-one can fill - he was always there and it’s so hard to believe that ‘always’ has come to an end. Our darling Tom followed you 3 days later - I’m sure the pair of you are smiling down on us all. Rest now Bill - ‘only the good die young’ but they made an exception for you from this rule and we were so privileged to be the beneficiaries of your friendship and great wisdom. Love always Olive & Robert
