I have been deeply saddened by the news of Bill's passing. As a former next door neighbour & friend, Bill was of immense support to me in his role as Undertaker during a family bereavement two years ago. It was such a thoughtful gesture that he requested to act as our family liason during lockdown, when extended family and friends were unable to attend. It was a role in which he excelled on the day, showing a genuine kindness, awareness and deep compassion that made a difficult day much more personal.
My condolences to his entire family, and to all those who knew and loved Bill over the years.
