My sincere sympathy to the Arrigan family on the death of Billy. All six of us had the good fortune to have Mr. Arrigan as our teacher in St. Anne's - 1970 to 1982. He taught me Latin and History and instilled a deep interest in both. More recently, I knew him as an enthusiastic member of the Michael Cavanagh Society. A lovely, decent person, always. Atque in perpetuum, Magistre, ave atque vale (GVC).

Billy, your brought the best of America back home with you. You were truly "a man for all seasons" and your enthusiasm and good humour left no one untouched. Requiescas in pace, a fhir uasal. Sincere sympathy to the Arrigan family on the death of Billy.

I am so saddened to hear of Billy's passing. He was a kind and gentle soul and I have many fond memories of singing with him in Aglish church choir - I know he will now be singing with the Angels.
